Cataldo Martelli was a young craftsman who grew up in his father’s workshop, specializing in horse saddles. One day, seeing a sports car speeding away in front of the workshop, he had a revolutionary idea, to combine the comfort of horse saddles with ergonomic design for sports car seats.
Working through the night, he created the first hand-stitched leather seat, designed to provide both comfort and stability at high speeds. His craftsmanship quickly gained attention, and his seats became synonymous of luxury and performance.
